Brooke Herrbolt died January 15, 1999, in an automobile accident.

She was the very young age of seventeen. Although young, she

touched many lives through her smile, presentation and attitude.

The CARA Gymnastics League, with the support of her family, have

set up a Scholarship in her memory.

Brooke Herrbolt was an outstanding representative for the CARA

Gymnastics League, as she personified the true philosophy behind

the CARA League. She started as a compulsory gymnast and

through her talent advanced to the highest level in the League.

Her family strongly supported her gymnastics, and her father Bill

Herrbolt became so involved, he soon was an assistant coach. Her

passion for the sport, as well as for living life to its fullest, will

always be remembered. Even now in her death, the family has

thought of a way to make it meaningful, they have started a

“Buckle Up for Brooke” campaign, hoping to educate people on

seatbelt awareness.
