Gymnastics Committee Minutes

The committee spent the majority of the meeting working on the meet schedule for the upcoming season. Some challenges included fitting teams in their choices while maintaining reasonable numbers at each level.  The meet request process was discussed due to some teams not choosing 6 different choices, therefore making it difficult to place them in 5^th and 6^th choices.  The process will be discussed further.

Laura Rocchio is in the process of updating our gymnastics rulebook.  If anyone sees anything in the rulebook that needs updated, please contact Misty (mgowdy@c3gov.com) .

Based on team rosters, some age group changes were made at compulsory and optional levels.

Optional numbers at each level and age group will be looked at again after mandates before Regional meets.

CARA Gymnastics judges team meetings are held at the Commerce City Recreation Center starting at 11 am prior to the normal meeting.  All are welcome to attend.

Next meeting will be held on April13th at noon at Commerce City Recreation Center.
