Gymnastics Committee Meeting
May 2009
Attendance:
Misty Gowdy, Commerce City
Kristen Larington, Broomfield
Stacey Folmar, ChalkBox
Susan Ludwig, Thornton
- Meet hosts – there should be a zip drive and extra toner cartridges in the meet kit.
- There was a suggestion made to look into electronic copies of meet results, rather than printing them at the meet site.
- Another suggestion – that each team be responsible for holding on to their own team’s waivers and have them available if needed at the meets. We are checking with CPRA to find out the legalities.
- We are also checking with the judges committee to determine what exactly determines a direction change on the bars.
- Meet hosts should double check with judges one week prior to the meet.
- All Teams – Remember to remind your parents of the mandate procedures for both the Super 4 and 5 Level and the optionals so there are no surprises the week of Regionals. Please keep track of your optional scores and move gymnasts throughout the season as they mandate to the next level.
- Meet hosts – If Premier Gymnastics is scheduled to come to your meet, take them off your rotation. They are not competing this year.

· For a team to be eligible to warm up or compete, there must be a safety certified coach from their organization present at the meet
· The rulebook states penalties for teams who do not have a safety certified coach present. The first offense is a fine.
