Meet Requests/Age and Level Breakdown/ Contact Information

Team Contact information and Age and Level Breakdown pages on the website will open soon.  Teams must fill out Contact info to get the password to open the Age/Level breakdown page.  Completing these will then give you the password to open the Meet Request page.  Teams must also email their rosters by Feb 24th  to mgowdy@c3gov.org   Meet request page will open Feb 24 at noon.  Requests will be taken in the order that they come in.

It is important to note that when you fill out your Age/Level Breakdown that you include ALL gymnasts that are likely to compete.  This is how we determine population (age group) splits for each level.  These numbers are also very important when determining meet schedules.  You can make changes at the mandatory meeting if needed.

Population Splits and Super 4, Super 5 Levels

The committee discussed and voted against the proposal submitted in January only because not ALL of the aspects were agreed upon. We did however take many portions of the proposal and use them.   Alan is working on the formal proposal for Super 4 and Super 5 and when we split a level into further groupings.  The committee discussed these issues at great length and will be detailed in the proposal which will be coming soon.

Alan also presented some very detailed statistics from last season so we could make a very informed proposition regarding Super 4/5 mandate scores as well as population splits at each level.

CARA League is growing!

The committee also discussed how to handle the meet situation in light of the amount of new teams as well as the number of growing teams.  A few options discussed included adding meets on holiday weekends, adding a regualr season meet on the same weekend as Regional 1 and adding a third meet host on the busier weekends.  We are looking for suggested solutions regarding this “good” problem we are going to be facing in the upcoming seasons.  Please email any ideas to Misty.
